Course style: It is designed under the learning model based on clinical competencies. So self-efficacy is promoted through reflection, behavioral testing, and critical thinking. The participant will have the opportunity to carry out a series of experiential exercises that can be applied both in his personal life and in therapy.

Emotional presence: The course can activate intense emotions, since the emotional approach will be emphasized and invited. In our interactions, the participant will be asked to be more open, vulnerable, aware and present. Exercises and tasks will facilitate self-exploration, emotional approach, and interpersonal risk taking. These activities are designed to increase clinical skills.

 

Confidentiality: You agree to keep confidentiality related to the personal approach that we will have, as well as information related to our clients and patients (e.g., it is not allowed to reveal personal details that allow the identification of clients and people). You will not be able to record our sessions, and it is very important that people who are not part of the group are away from your computer and monitor, so that they cannot hear or see what is happening in the meeting.

Difference between consulting and clinical supervision: Dr. Jessika Talavera's role is as a lecturer, consulting and / or peer mentoring where she teaches clinical skills and offers recommendations based on literature review, available research, clinical experience, training and consulting. that she has done through the years. You as a participant are responsible for how you will use the material presented and how you conduct psychotherapy with your clients and patients. If you are a student in clinical training, you will be responsible for discussing the information obtained with your clinical supervisor and will follow the recommendations offered by your supervisor.

Remote courses: For remote courses or via the internet we will be using the Zoom platform. High speed internet is required with enough resolution to stream videos. In addition, you will require hearing aids in order to avoid audio and / or noise problems.

Course certificate: The participation certificate will be delivered once the course is finished and will be sent to you via email. The courses do not contain continuing education credits. You must have paid the cost of the course to be able to deliver the final certificate.

Refund Policy: If you cannot attend or access the course, the full tuition will be refunded up to four (4) days before the course date. 50% up to (2) two days before said date. It will not be refunded after the date. You must notify in writing to the email info@talaveraphd.com the reasons for your cancellation. We reserve the right to cancel the workshop for lack of necessary registration. If your payment was received, the full amount will be refunded.
